Greetings from Toy Soldiers Games! Our journey began with the innovative creation of Toy Soldiers, a game that masterfully combines elements of strategy and action. Launched initially on Xbox Live Arcade in 2010 by Signal Studios, this game plunges players into a stylized World War I setting where they command an army of miniature soldiers, tanks, and planes.
In Toy Soldiers, gameplay seamlessly shifts between a bird’s-eye view for strategic planning and ground-level combat, giving players both oversight and hands-on engagement. The game features an array of military units that players can enhance as they progress, adding depth and intensity to the battlefield. The solo campaign spans 24 engaging levels with narratives from both British and German perspectives.
Designed with a family-friendly ethos, our game ensures a clean play experience by having defeated units break apart into plastic bits, avoiding any graphic violence. In 2021, we launched Toy Soldiers HD, which revitalizes the original with vibrant graphics and expanded features, now available on platforms like PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch.
Our Games – Published through the years
Toy Soldiers (2010)
Our first game, released on Xbox Live Arcade in 2010. Set in a World War I scene, players control small toy soldiers, tanks, and planes. You can look at the whole battlefield from above or zoom in to control a single soldier. The game includes campaigns for both British and German sides and lets you play with others online or side by side.
Toy Soldiers Cold War (2011)
The next game takes you to the Cold War period. Released in 2011, it brings in new units like helicopters and commando teams, focusing more on action. You still get to plan your moves, but now you can also earn special powers and abilities as you play.
Toy Soldiers War Chest (2015)
In 2015, we added new teams and stories to the series. Players can choose from different groups, including famous characters like G.I. Joe and He-Man. This game looks better and lets you change your units more. You can play alone or with others.
Toy Soldiers HD (2021)
In 2021, we updated the original game with better graphics and smoother play. Now called “Toy Soldiers HD,” this version is available on newer systems like PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch. It’s a great way for new players to see why people liked the original game and for old fans to revisit the fun.
